Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas Completes Renovation

Royal Caribbean International’s Legend of the Seas will show off the results of its month-long US$50 million drydock in Singapore for its remaining Asia season before returning to Europe.

The Visionclass vessel is the latest ship in the fleet to receive Oasis-class amenities and an extensive makeover. Guests will experience the specialty restaurants of Park Café, Chef’s Table, Chops Grille and Izumi Asian Cuisine, along with a new 60s inspired R Bar and Viking Crown Lounge nightclub. Entertainment now features an outdoor cinema screen and aerial entertainment experiences in the Centrum, the central meeting point onboard. Modernised staterooms, flatpanel TVs and Wi-Fi throughout the ship all support the contemporary guest experience.

Through March, passengers can cruise Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas completes renovation on the renovated vessel as it sails Southeast Asia itineraries from its Singapore homeport.

Itinerary options include: Malaysia (three nights), Southeast Asia (four or five nights), Bangkok and Ko Samui (five nights) and Borneo (seven nights).

In April, the ship will sail a four-night Southeast Asia roundtrip from Singapore and then relocate to Europe for the summer season.

It will begin by sailing a seven-night Western Mediterranean roundtrip from Rome.Legend of the Seas splits its 2013 Europe summer between the Italian homeports of Rome and Venice.

From May to August, the ship will sail a seven-night route covering Western Mediterranean, calling at Genoa in Italy, Provence in France and Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca and Valencia in Spain. A nine-night sailing of the Italian peninsula, departing 31 August, will lead Legend of the Seas to Venice. Here it will offer guests 10-night Greek Isles and 11-night Greece and Turkey itineraries in September and October.

The ship will then return to the Caribbean to provide Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal sailings.
