Oceania Cruises launches new cruise ship, Marina

Oceania Cruises has officially launched its new ship, Marina, in Miami following her maiden voyage from Barcelona. Marina is the grandest in the Oceania fleet, carrying up to 1,250 passengers and has been purpose built to showcase Oceania’s pursuit of culinary excellence. Of the ten restaurants on board, six are gourmet and incur no extra cost for guests. Included in the impressive set of restaurants is Jacques, the first eponymous restaurant for celebrated French-American chef Jacques Pépin. In keeping with its culinary focus, Marina also boasts the Bon Appetit Culinary Centre, the first hands-on cooking school at sea with 24 professionally designed work stations, and an on-board wine tasting centre, La Reserve, which offers seminars and tastings. Marina has 19 European itineraries available from 16 April to 14 November, thirteen of which are brand new itineraries for Oceania Cruises
