Tour Itinerary
Day 1
  Board your overnight Emirates flight from Australia to Dubai.
Day 2
  Arrive in Dubai and connect with your Emirates flight from Dubai to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya where you will be meet and escorted to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. A welcome safari briefing by your Wildlife Safari manager followed by an afternoon to relax and welcome dinner.

Day 3
  Early morning departure for Tanzania, crossing the border at Namanga, where your Tanzanian guide will meet you. Proceed to Arusha for lunch and continue to the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, perched on the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a late afternoon game viewing drive.

Day 4 and 5
  Continue this morning to the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro conservation area to the Serengeti National Park. Spend two days game viewing in the Serengeti National Park where it’s not unusual to find up to thirty lion in a single pride.

Day 6
  Drive along the Serengeti plains, stopping at Olduvai Gorge to visit the small museum where the collection of artifacts are displayed. Arrive at your lodge, built into the crater rim. NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 7
  Early morning descent by four wheel drive vehicle to the crater floor for a morning of wildlife viewing. Enjoy a picnic breakfast before proceeding on your game viewing drive. Return to your lodge for a late lunch and crater rim treak late afternoon. NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 8
  Morning drive back to Arusha for lunch and proceed to Namanga. Cross back into Kenya and enter the Amboseli National Park with game viewing drive to your luxury safari lodge which faces the snow capped summit of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 9
  Dawn is the ideal time for game viewing in Amboseli, either by vehicle or hot air balloon over the plains, with excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear morning. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the morning relaxing by the swimming pool. Another game viewing drive late this afternoon around the lakes and springs fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro, home to a multitude of bird and animal species. You will also be invited to plant your own acacia tree as part of The Amboseli Reforestation project. AMBOSELI SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 10
  An early departure from Amboseli, stopping for a quick lunch in Nairobi before continuing to the Mount Kenya National Park. This heavily forested sanctuary is home to a number of unique species of fauna and flora. Your luxury safari lodge is situated in a forest clearing overlooking a natural waterhole that is floodlit throughout the night allowing you to view a variety of wildlife gathered around the waterhole. There is also a special “wake up” call available throughout the night in case your favourite species arrive at the waterhole. Enjoy all night game viewing from the comfort of your lodge. Day 11
  Drive through the town of Isiolo, occasionally passing nomadic Samburu tribesmen. Arrive for lunch at the Samburu Serena Lodge, built on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. Afternoon game drive in Samburu, home to the unusual reticulated giraffe, the long necked gerenuk, the Grevy’s zebra and the beisa oryx. SAMBURU SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 12
  Spend the full day in the Samburu Game Reserve, enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives. Samburu is a contrast of very dry scrub and lush palm lined oasis. An escorted bush walk along the Uaso Nyiro River is also included during your stay. SAMBURU SERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 13 and 14
  Today is a non wildlife viewing day as you drive south from Samburu, cross the equator and drive through the Great Rift Valley. Stop at a picturesque spot to enjoy a traditional Kenyan lunch prepared by a local chef who will explain the menu and maybe even share some of the recipes. Continue after lunch to Lake Nakuru arriving late afternoon at your lodge by the lake. Depart the following morning on a full day of game and bird viewing around Lake Nakuru, the world famous flamingo sanctuary. Lake Nakuru is also a black rhino and white rhino breeding sanctuary and you will enjoy bird and game viewing in the sanctuary. Enjoy a Wildlife Safari exclusive picnic lunch overlooking the lake before returning to your lodge. LAKE NAKURU LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 15
  Breakfast and drive into the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve where you will pass wildlife herds on the vast plains as your game viewing drive takes you to the luxurious Mara Serena Lodge, perched on the summit of a hill in the finest wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. Lunch and late afternoon game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. MARASERENA LODGE (B,L,D)
Day 16 and 17
  Two full days of game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands during the annual migration from the Serengeti. Lion, leopard and cheetah are never far behind, while crocodile and hippo wallow in the Mara and Talek Rivers. Your guide may organise a full day game viewing drive with a magnificent picnic lunch. You will also enjoy our ‘Dinner on the Masai Mara’ with traditional Masai dancing. MARA SERENA LOD GE (B,L,D)
Day 18
  A final early morning game drive is followed by breakfast by the “hippo pools” at the Mara River. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Farewell dinner at “The Mandhari”. NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL(B,D)
Day 19
  Morning sightseeing and shopping tour of Nairobi with early afternoon transfer to Nairobi airport and board your Emirates flight to Dubai. (B)
Day 20
  Arrive home in Australia.
