See the historic beauty spots of Budapest on both sides of the Danube–the Houses of Parliament, Margaret Bridge, the Royal Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias Church and Heroes’ Square.

Szentendre (5hrs)

Visit the charming Baroque village of Szentendre on the Danube bend, favoured by artists, sculptors and poets. Enjoy the multimedia presentation at the Caprice Hungarian Jewellery centre (coffee and soft drinks served), then wander through the streets of Szentendre. Return to Budapest by boat (May-Sep only).

Folklore Evening (4hrs)

Transfer through illuminated Budapest to a traditional Hungarian restaurant in Buda Hills. Enjoy a 3-course dinner with wine accompanied by folklore show. Returning to Budapest you have a wonderful view of the city from the Citadel. Tour ends at the hotel or at the Casino (free admission to tour members).

Royal tour & Horse show (9hrs)

Visit the former summer residence of Queen Elisabeth (Sissi) in Gödöllö, the 2nd largest Baroque chateau in the world with its Royal Stables and Riding School. Enjoy a coffee & cake at the Palace Café. Then continue to Domonyvölgy for a welcome drink and a performance of the famous horsemen and a carriage ride.

Danube Bend (10hrs)

The Danube Bend – an excursion into Hungary’s history. See Visegrad, the former royal residence and Esztergom. Continue to the charming Baroque artists’ village of Szentendre. Return to Budapest by boat (May-Sep).
