The city of Ho Chi Minh, popularly know as Saigon, is the South capital of Vietnam , located on the Sai Gon River, just northeast of the mekong River Delta.  Explore Saigon sites and travel by boat through a myriad of canals and waterways.

5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS SAIGON & THE MEKONG TOUR

SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON includes:

• DAY 1 – SAIGON: You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
• DAY 2 – SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS: A walking tour of Saigon's sites includes Notre Dame Cathedral, the former Presidential Palace, the City Opera and City Hall. This afternoon you drive outside of Saigon to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels. (B, L)
• DAY 3 – MEKONG DELTA: The Mekong River empties into the South China Sea through a myriad of canals and waterways. You explore this fertile region by boat, along the way visiting a floating market, a rice paper factory and enjoy lunch at a local home. (B, L)
• DAY 4 – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON: Visit the floating markets in Cai Rang, see the local cottage industries in action & visit a rice husking mill. In the afternoon, return to Saigon, and the rest of the day is free to shop! (B)
• DAY 5 – SAIGON: This morning you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight home (B)
