History
Etihad Airline was established in 2003 and started operations on November 13, 2003. It is wholly owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways has been rated four star by Skytrax and was voted the World’s Leading Airline, for the fifth consecutive year, at the World Travel Awards 2013, held in Doha on November 30th. Luggage Allowance
When travelling Diamond First Class with Etihad, guests are entitled to a 40kg check-in baggage allowance. Diamond First Class guests are allowed to carry on two pieces of baggage with a combined weight of up to 12kg.
Pearl Business Class travellers are entitled to a 30kg check-in baggage allowance and are allowed to carry on two pieces of baggage with a combined weight of up to 12kg.
Maximum weight for check-in luggage is 32kg per item.
