Day 1
Arrive São Paulo, Brazil
Arrive in São Paulo, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Set out this a_ernoon on a city tour, visiting Estação da Luz, a train station dating to 1867, to view its unique architecture. Venture inside the neo-Gothic Catedral da Sé de São Paulo before heading to the Japanese neighborhood of Liberdade. Also view famed Paulista Avenue. Then, visit Ibirapuera urban park, with its museum designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Dine tonight at a top local restaurant.

Day 2
Iguazu Falls | Feel the Powerful Cascades
Fly to Iguazu Falls and transfer to your hotel situated just a short walk from the cascades. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant near the edge of the cataracts. Iguazu Falls | Up Close to the Devil’s Throat

Ouro Preto | Discovering Colonial Brazil

Ouro Preto | Secrets of Historical Cities
Explore Ouro Preto, a center for gold mining in the colonial era, to view the 18th-century São Francisco de Assis Church, the Museum of the School of Mines, the Church of Our Lady of the Pilar and the Opera House, and see why this village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Mariana, founded in 1696, to stroll its picturesque streets. Continue to Minas Gerais Square to visit its church and other historical buildings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Rio de Janeiro | Carnival & Culture
Get a taste of the Carnival culture with a guided look backstage to see the construction process of costumes and floats. Visit the Grande Rio’s Warehouse Samba School, one of Rio’s first Carnival group schools, to view exhibitions about the history of Samba and the Carnival Parade. Then, enjoy a chance to dress up in carnival costumes, learn some samba moves and join a percussion class. Next, visit the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood to marvel at its charming architecture and experience the artistic culture. Depart Rio de Janeiro | Christ the Redeemer
