Itinerary
Day 01 Australia/Beijing
Depart from Australia to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met by our guide and transfer to your hotel in Beijing. Touring program starts the next day.
Day 02 Beijing
After breakfast, enjoy a day tour to the Great Wall of China, the Badalin or Mutianyu section, away from the crowds, taking a cable car ride and climbing the ramparts. We are in a discussion about another attraction we can take you in the afternoon near Badalin Great Wall, where not many tourists go, will send you details. In the evening, we will take you to the restaurant of your choice*, we’ll recommend plenty of options.
Optional helicopter sightseeing tour over the Wall, massage treatment in the evening.
Day 03 Beijing
After breakfast, visit Forbidden City, the vast complex of palaces, which was home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch, we tour the Tian’anmen Square, the biggest public square in the world and Summer Palace, the largest and the best preserved of all imperial palace gardens, and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming if weather permits. Evening visit to the Beijing Olympic stadium – the bird’s nest before dinner and other activities. Dinner at your own arrangement.
Day 04 Beijing
After breakfast, participate in a morning Tai Chi class at the Temple of Heaven, the 500-year-old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, trees and sculptures. Pedicab ride through the old alleyways of Beijing, courtyard gardens, experience local life on a family visit and kindergarten if opens. Leisure after lunch. Dinner at your own arrangement.
Day 05 Beijing/Shanghai
Morning at leisure. Be transferred to the airport in the afternoon for a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotels.
Day 06 Shanghai
After breakfast, morning tour to the Bund, a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old meets the modern in Shanghai, then to the Old Town with its winding alleyways, lined with shops, tea houses and restaurants, and to the elegant and tranquil Yu Garden. In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Xintiandi, which is a new tourist attraction in downtown Shanghai, featuring the city’s unique " Shikumen " houses and a maze of narrow alleys, which have been converted into specialist F & B, retail, entertainment and cultural facilities.D inner at your own arrangement.
Day 07 Shanghai / Xitang / Shanghai
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to Xitang, covering a distance of 90km from Shanghai. The town, where Mission Impossible was filmed, is densely distributed with rivers and has a very quiet natural environment. 9 rivers converge in this town, dividing it into 8 sections, but many bridges link this water town together. Inside the town, there are many well-preserved architectural groups constructed during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Return to Shanghai late afternoon. Dinner at your own arrangement.
Day 08 Shanghai / Home
At leisure before transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
