11 days cuisine experience tour to Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai China is a world-renowned “Culinary Kingdom." Chinese cooking techniques are spread far and wide, and the people all over the world love Chinese food. Yet foods prepared in varied regions are quite different in tastes, showing strong regional features. The people of northwest China love sour food; those of southwest China are fond of spicy food; and those from south and east China prefer sweet food. The people of north China mainly eat cooked wheaten food, such as steamed bread, steamed twisted rolls, pancakes and noodles; and the people of south China take rice as staple food. While visiting scenic Chinese tourist attractions, you can also taste various kinds of delicious food.

Day 01 -/Beijing2
Arrive in Beijing, transfer to your hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we take a short Rickshaw tour to Beijing’s traditional Hutongs in the morning. For lunch, we will learn how to make Jiaozi together with the local Chinese people living in Hutongs. Free for the rest of day. In the evening, welcoming banquet at “Fangshan Restaurant" that is famous for its Traditional Royal Dishes.

Day 03 Beijing (B)
Free at leisure. You may take our optional tours.

Day 04 Beijing/Xian (B/L/D)

Morning flight to Xian, ancient capital for 11 centuries, and the ancient gateway to the Silk Road full of Chinese egendary.
In the afternoon, you are arranged to visit Provincial Museum. In the evening, enjoys the Tang Dynasty Dance Show and Dinner,
which lets you enjoy the royal arts like a king in the 7th century.

Day 05 Xian (B/L/D)
Visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in the morning. Have cooking lesson in the afternoon to learn making one Chinese dish.

Day 06 Xian/Guilin (B/L/D)
Fly to Guilin. If time permit, we visit Reed Flute Cave. In the evening, enjoy a special local dinner made of tea.

Day 07 Guilin-Yangshuo (B/L/D)
The Highlight of the trip to Guilin is a spectacular cruise down the meandering and picturesque Li River, the breathtaking
scenery as jagged mist-covered mountains, quaint villages dot the riverbanks, drift past humped limestone peaks, fishermen
aboard bamboo rafts and grazing water buffalo. You will also have a chance to roam Yangshuo’s local market before dinner at
well-known West Street.

Day 08 Yangshuo (B/L)
Cooking class (by an Australian woman). Pick up from the hotel; visit the local food market, information about the vegetable and ingredients etc. Learn how to cook for 5 dishes, lunch at the courtyard of the cooking school inside of a peaceful village. Rest of time will be free at leisure.

Day 09 Yangshuo-Guilin/Shanghai (B/L/D)
Take a ride to Guilin airport for your fight to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, transferred from airport to hotel. Visit Shanghai Urban Planning Centers before enjoy a “Shanghai Cuisine" dinner.

Day 10 Shanghai (B)
Free at leisure. You may explore this booming city or go hopping till dropping.

Day 11 Shanghai/- (B)
