Itinerary
Day 1 Home Port – Vancouver (D)
Join flight to Vancouver. On arrival you will be met and transferred* to your hotel in the heart of one of Canada’s most beautiful cities. Tonight meet your Scenic Tours Tour Director and travelling companions for a ‘Welcome to Canada’ reception and dinner.

Day 2 Vancouver – EXCLUSIVE Capilano Suspension Bridge Nature Walk (B)
Today be the first to see the sunlight warm the dewed foliage and timbers of the forest with an early morning Exclusive Guided Nature Walk through the rainforest at Capilano Suspension Bridge. Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver including the waterfront, Gastown, Chinatown, StanleyPark and Granville Island. The remainder of the day is yours to explore.
Day 3 ‘The Rocky Mountaineer’ – Kamloops (B,L,D)
Early morning transfer to the railroad station for 2 days enjoying ‘the Most Spectacular Train Trip in the World.’ Relax in your guaranteed Goldleaf carriage and experience unsurpassed levels of Dome Car service. Enter the fertile Fraser Valley and then follow the Thompson River towards Kamloops. Day 4 ‘The Rocky Mountaineer’ Train – Banff (B,L)
Transfer back to Kamloops station and continue your journey eastward into the spectacular Rocky Mountains. Marvel at the glaciers and snow-capped mountains of RogersPass and Kicking Horse Pass. Late afternoon arrival into Banff and transfer to your hotel.

After a relaxed morning, continue to the glacier fed Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge. Travel north today along the incredible Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Stop at the Columbia Icefield, where you’ll take the ‘Ice Explorer’ onto the mighty Athabasca Glacier. This afternoon arrive in stunning Jasper National Park. Scenic FreeChoice Dining. Depart Jasper and soon stand at the base of awesome, 3,954-metre Mt Robson. Continue past the early trading settlement of Tete Jaune Cache and into the Cariboo Mountains region. Arrive into Alaska’s scenic capital city, Juneau. Learn the city’s Gold Rush story, drop into the Red Dog Saloon or visit the fascinating Alaska State Museum. (Shore excursions are at own expense).
Day 16 Skagway (B,L,D)
Sail into Skagway with plenty of free time to go ashore and stroll the weathered boardwalks and false-fronted buildings as you step back to the Days of 1898.
Day 17 Glacier Bay (B,L,D)
Early this morning your cruise ship enters the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, where 13 spectacular glaciers flow from surrounding mountains into the waters of the bay. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to see a pinnacle of ice ‘calve’ or break away from the face of a glacier to plunge into the bay. A National Park Service Ranger onboard the ship will help you spot wildlife, while pointing out sights and explaining glacier activity.
Day 18 Ketchikan (B,L,D)
Arrive into picturesque Ketchikan. Take the opportunity to visit Totem Bight State Park and walk through the forest to a replica Tlingit Indian Village. (Shore excursions are at own expense).
Day 19 The Inside Passage (B,L,D)
A relaxing day as you travel south through the Inside Passage, shaped by glaciers millions of years ago.
Day 20 Vancouver (B)
