Enjoy the lights at the beautiful Butchart Gardens, a magical place at any time of year, but especially so as Christmas arrives. Enjoy dog sledding at Banff, where you’ll spend Christmas at one of the Fairmont’s iconic flagship hotels, the ‘Castle in the Rockies’. 14-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Victoria
Your journey into wonder begins with a two night Special Stay at the exclusive Fairmont Empress. Tonight celebrate your adventures at a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Victoria > Butchart Gardens
Freechoice:
For a traditional Victorian experience, indulge in afternoon tea at the Fairmont Empress, or take a scenic floatplane flight for a bird’s eye view of the city .
Later, enjoy the ‘Magic of Christmas’ seasonal theme at the Butchart Gardens, with Christmas lights, holiday wreaths and carol singers.

Day 3 – Victoria > Vancouver
Discover some of Vancouver’s characterful neighbourhoods, such as Gastown and Stanley Park. Make the most of your visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, which is even more mystical in the winter. Enjoy a two-night stay at the exclusive Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Day 4 – Vancouver
Freechoice:
Take a simulated flight over Canada’s greatest landmarks or treat yourself to Vancouver’s best foodie tour and connect with the food, history and people of Vancouver. Alternatively, enjoy a Snowshoe adventure at Grouse Mountain.

Day 5 – Vancouver > Okanagan Valley
Drive into the picturesque Okanagan Valley, known for its fine wineries and abundant local produce. Immerse yourself in lakeside ambiance in the midst of British Columbia’s Wine Country at Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort, surrounded by picturesque mountains. Remainder of the day is free for you to relax, unwind and enjoy the resorts facilities.

Day 6 – Okanagan Valley
Enrich:
Discover the world of wines growing opposite the Okanagan Lake, taste varieties made from vines grown in volcanic soil, and learn how the area’s unique geology impacts its grapes. As the day unfolds enjoy breathtaking views of local vineyards and of the lake. Savour a delectable lunch feasting on local produce paired with local wines. Day 7 – Okanagan Valley > Jasper
Keep a look out for wildlife such as elk as you arrive into Jasper. For the next two nights enjoy a cosy home at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Day 8 – Jasper

Try something new such as a Maligne Canyon Icewalk, or put on your snowshoes and stroll with an experienced guide through the pristine Jasper National Park. Alternatively, learn about the friendly (and not so friendly) locals on a wildlife discovery tour.

Day 9 – Jasper > Lake Louise
Travel along one of the most spectacular drives in the world, the Icefields Parkway.
Enrich:
Marvel at the unique, natural phenomenon of ice bubbles trapped below the surface of Abraham Lake. Explore this winter wonderland by helicopter.

There are a variety of restaurants to tempt you this evening.

Day 10 – Lake Louise

Day 12 – Banff
Merry Christmas! If you’ve been dreaming of a white Christmas, then today your dream comes true. Within the halls of the hotel, the festive season is celebrated with international flavour, blending the traditional sights and sounds of Christmas into a magical festival.

Continue the festive spirit with a pre-dinner drink in the grandiose Mt Stephen Hall. At this time of year, the incredible medieval-like hall, with its rare antiques, paintings and oak-carved ceiling, is decorated with all the Christmas trimmings. Savour a classic Christmas dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 13 – Banff
Freechoice:
Complete your Canadian winter experience with a dog sledding adventure or an icewalk into Grotto Canyon. Alternatively, you may choose to discover the mountaintops from above in a helicopter. If you prefer, stay cosy in your ‘Castle in the Rockies’ and rejuvenate in the mineral pools of the Willow Stream Spa.

Day 14 – Banff > Calgary
Transfer to Calgary airport for your homeward flight.
