Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has officially confirmed the successful sea trials and safety certification for its latest Triton 660/9 AVA submersible aboard Scenic Eclipse II, 11 months post the introduction of the ultra-luxury yacht.
Scenic Neptune II, hoisted into the garage of Scenic Eclipse II, is set to enhance the upcoming voyages across the South Pacific, Great Barrier Reef, and East Antarctica throughout 2024 and 2025.
Boasting 270-degree panoramic vistas and diving capabilities of up to 100 meters beneath the surface, Scenic Neptune II is meticulously designed to offer guests an immersive underwater encounter, seamlessly blending with the ocean’s wonders.
Scenic Eclipse II’s inaugural season in the Oceania region kicked off on March 13, 2024, with a voyage from Valparaiso across the Pacific, marking its maiden arrival in Australia on April 20, 2024. Subsequent journeys along the East Coast and Top End of Australia, Kimberley, Indonesian Archipelago, South Pacific, New Zealand, and East Antarctica are scheduled over the next two years.
The unparalleled discovery experiences on board Scenic Eclipse II include two state-of-the-art helicopters, with the addition of four seabobs for these voyages, allowing guests to glide beneath the ocean’s surface. Each expedition will be led by an expert Discovery Team offering profound insights into the destinations.
