From 31st March 2019, Qantas is launching new direct flights from Sydney to Fiji. This will meet the growing demand from customers and making it easier to holiday in Fiji. This Boeing 737 aircraft service will operate 4 times a week to Nadi. Qantas will offer a checked baggage allowance plus inflight entertainment and food and drink will all be included as part of the fare. Business class option is available. These flights will add to Jetstar’s direct service which operates four times a week. The Qantas flight will add more than 75,000 seats on this route annually. Customers can now fly 6 days a week to this popular holiday destination.

In this case, its’s a return to Fiji after almost 20 years, a short four-hour hop from Sydney, helping extend the summer for Australians year-round.
For travel from 1 February Jetstar flights between Sydney and Nadi will carry a Qantas code, so Qantas customer traveling on the Jetstar codeshare service will enjoy additional benefits, including the opportunity for Qantas Frequent Flyers to earn points and status credits and a complimentary meal.
Fiji Airways is now integrated as a One world Connect partner and Qantas will continue to codeshare on Fiji Airways services to Nadi. Qantas customers can earn and redeem Qantas points and Status credits on Fiji Airways services between the two countries. Eligible Qantas Frequent Flyers will also have access to priority check-in desks, lounge access (NAN operated by Fiji Airways and ports with Qantas operated lounges only) and priority boarding when flying on Qantas codeshare flights operated by Fiji Airways.
