The Seine River cruise port and town Le Pecq is situated in north-central France, with a population of approximately 16,000. The town is located in a loop of the river and in the western suburbs of Paris City.
The settlement was founded in the late-7th-century and in early-8th-century was given to Fontenelle Abbey. Town’s current economy is based on Lyonnaise des Eaux – a drinking water production company serving over 0,5 million consumers. Few of the best-known tourist attractions in the area include two churches – St Wandrille and St Thibault, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, and the railway viaduct from the late 19th century with stone arches and connected to two tunnels.
