Arendal, Norway

The port town of Arendal is located in the Aust-Agder county, Norway. The town covers a total area of approx 270 square kilometres and has a population of around 42,000.

Arendal belongs to the Sorlandet region and is known as the municipality’s administrative centre. The inner harbour is called Pollen and surrounding the harbour, you will find most of the pubs, restaurants and the fish market.

There are scheduled ferries that run regularly between Arendal and the Norwegian islands Hisoy and Tromoy.
