Hyatt Hotels has said it expected to open at least 30 new hotels in 2013.
The new additions mark an increase in the company’s pace of development, following the opening of 22 hotels in 2012, including the Hyatt Regency Chongqing and Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.
This year’s openings will include four conversions in France, doubling the company’s portfolio in the country, plus its first hotel in Cambodia, the Park Hyatt Siem Reap.
“We are focused on growing our market share… and continuing to support expansion of our brand presence around the world," said Hyatt’s President & CEO, Mark S. Hoplamazian.
