Day 1: Zurich > Basel
In RĂĽdesheim, a historic town surrounded by vineyards, choose from Scenic’s Freechoice tours: visit Siegfried’s Musikkabinett Museum or take an e-bike ride to Schloss Johannisberg. Cruise along the Rhine Gorge, known for its castles and legends, including Lorelei, a bewitching female figure.

Day 2: Breisach
Breisach, located between the Rhine River and the Black Forest, is a food and wine destination. Choose from Scenic’s Freechoice tours: wine tasting at Kaiserstuhl, excursion to Colmar, or visit the Black Forest’s open-air museum. Sample wines, explore charming streets, or learn about local traditions and indulge in Black Forest Cake.

Day 3: Kehl > Strasbourg
Kehl is the gateway to Strasbourg, known for its sherbert-colored half-timbered houses and canals. Day 5: Â Rhine Gorge > Rudesheim

As you leave RĂĽdesheim, cruise along the World Heritage-listed Rhine Gorge, a fairy-tale stretch with hilltop castles and fortresses spanning a thousand years.

Day 6: Cochem

You will arrive in Veere this morning, one of The Netherland’s prettiest villages whose historic harbour is filled with bobbing yachts. While its beginnings date to the 13th century, Veere flourished in the 16th century when it became an important port for Scottish wool. This prosperity lasted two centuries, and to this day Scottish ties are strong.

Day 14: Utrecht
Today, you’ll arrive in Utrecht, a canal-lined city with green spaces, lively streets, and hidden alleys waiting to be explored. Choose from Scenic Freechoice activities: explore Utrecht’s canals and alleys with a local guide or visit the fairy tale-like De Haar Castle, the largest castle in the Netherlands. In the afternoon, relax on the Sun Deck as you cruise towards your final destination, Amsterdam.
