Trekking to Cinque Terre

1 Day arrival to La Spezia. Arrangement in Hotel

2 Day Breakfast. In the morning boat transfer to Island Palmaria. Arrival at Terrizzo mole and following the path you will cross this small but wonderful island famous for “Portoro” marble quarry. Length of this path about 7 km, about 2 hours walk. Boat transfer back to Portovenere and return to La Spezia to the Hotel.

3 Day After breakfast transfer by train to Riomaggiore.  From here the path n° 3 gets up throught vineyards reaching the “Madonna di Montenero”. This sanctuary stands out the village of Riomaggiore, the last one of the sanctuaries route, with are five, one for each village of Cinque Terre. At the “ Telegrafo” fortess famousfor the free-climbing wall. Just behind Campiglia begin one of the most spectacular paths: steep cliffs, descending to the sea and rich nature makes of this area one of the most interesting to see. This path is a bit more difficult but when you reach Portovenere you will get enough time for a relaxing walk. Overnight stay in hotel.

4 Day transfer to Monterosso by your own car or by train. In the afternoon trekking start from Monterosso to Levanto through olive-grove and pinewood along the path n° 1 you will arrive at Punta Mesco. Here your fatigue will be repaid by unique and unforgettable views. You can see at the same time, all the  Cinque Terre together and the Gulf of La Spezia with the three islands Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto. To return you can take the same path back by train. Overnight stay in Hotel.

5 Day After breakfast you can reach Corniglia by train placed on a steep promontory, with two exclusive small beaches at its sides. After the visit go on to the medieval fishing village of Vernazza, the most picturesque of the Cinque Terre. Walking up and down following the path 2 you will get wonderful views of this typical Mediterranean under growth. Arrival in Monterosso where you can see the most equipped beaches of the zone and the highest concentration of wine shops, artisan shops, hotels and restaurants.Return by train. Overnight in hotel.

6 Day Breakfast From Monterosso start the Sanctuary path following this ancient route you can reach “ Madonna di Soviore” Madonna di Reggio, Cigoletta and Corniglia.  Return to Monterosso by train. Overnight in hotel.

7 Day After breakfast by train you can arrive into the Parco Naturale you can reach Corniglia placed on steep promontory, with two exclusive small beaches at its sides and crossing path you can arrive to Manarola and Riomaggiore. The most frequented and famous route of the Cinque Terre called “ Via dell’Amore” connects those small fishing villages. Return by train to Monterosso. Overnight in hotel.
