Day 1: Arrive Canberra
Arrive into the nation’s capital today and transfer to your hotel. Later, join an expert guide for an engaging private tour of the Australian War Memorial’s Commemorative Courtyard and hear just some of the stories of service and sacrifice behind the over 102,000 names on the Australian Roll of Honour. Enter the breathtaking Hall of Memory and gaze upon one of the largest and most captivating mosaics in the world. Pay your respects to the fallen and place a poppy of remembrance on the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier. One of the Memorial’s curators will take you on a privileged exploration of the unique collection of rare and beautiful letters, maps, photographs and diaries — many over 100 years old. Iconic and rarely displayed artworks by some of Australia’s most important artists of the last century are also exhibited.

Day 2: Canberra
This morning, a rare treat awaits when you venture behind-the-scenes of the National Museum of Australia. Enjoy an incredible opportunity to gain exclusive access to the “off display” collection with a guided tour of the Museum’s purpose-built storage facilities.
