There is already lots of snow on the ground… it’s time to get to Banff & Lake Louise!
This ski region is made up of two cool mountain towns and three incredible ski resorts. Nestled high in the Canadian Rockies, Banff is a town that makes you feel at home and exhilarated with wonder all at the same time. Lake Louise has become symbolic of the quintessentially Canadian mountain scene. This alpine lake, known for its sparkling blue waters, is situated at the base of impressive glacier-clad peaks that have long been at the heart of Canadian mountaineering.
There is plenty of skiing and snowboarding around Banff with a ski pass giving you access to Sunshine, Norquay and Lake Louise. In Sunshine you will have access to over 3,300 acres of terrain and the novel opportunity to ski or ride in both the province of Alberta and British Columbia on the same run. Spectacular scenery awaits at Lake Louise with uniquely beautiful terrain that is both vast and varied. With 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise is one of the largest ski areas in North America. At Norquay skiers and snowboarders will find terrain for all levels, including groomed runs, bumps and a terrain park. Not only does Norquay have the only night skiing in the Bow Valley but at Norquay, you can ride the only lit terrain park.
